En weer een hengstveulen voor Metske. πŸ€

Afgelopen donderdag heeft onze stermerrie Metske (Tjebbe 500)Β  na een vlotte bevalling een zoon gekregen van Jeppe 537

Metske heeft precies hetzelfde gedaan als haar moeder Christina. Vijftien dagen te vroeg en ’s avonds om 22:00 geveulend. Toeval….. πŸ˜‚

Ze stond al drie dagen met kegeltjes, dus je gaat niet echt van huis. Camera steeds bij de hand. Twee nachten problemen met de geboortemelder, dus niet echt vertrouwen daarin, dan maar wakker blijven. 🫣Maar we zagen het goed aankomen en na een vlotte bevalling was daar Hotze. Stiekem heel erg gehoopt op een merrieveulen, aangezien Metske alleen nog maar hengsten heeft gegeven. Maar weer heel erg blij en dankbaar dat het gezond is en al weer springt in de stal.

Inmiddels is ChristinaΒ  geΓ―nsemineerd met Sicco 550. Dus dat is weer afwachten, Hunter (Mans 543)Β is al een echte kerel, wat een leuk veulen en geweldig karakter. En zo slim, echt mooi om te zien!

VajΓ©n en Ziva zijn beide opgegeven voor de locatiekeuring in Mei bij de Nieuwe Heuvel. Wordt weer spannend.

Nu is het wachten op de twee schapen, als het goed is verwachten we aankomende week lammeren.

En vanaf 9 april komen de eerste veulens bij de Shetten.Β 

Heerlijk dit seizoen! Weer genieten van al het jonge grut in de wei! πŸ€
